Program Coordinator• Responsible for managing all operational efforts to include instructing daily classes for a nationwide in-school academic support program designed to prepare students for college eligibility and success• Consistently monitor and evaluate to devise new and innovative strategies in support of program objectives as well as develop sustainable goals to enhance program efforts • Partner with local school counselors to conduct outreach and recruitment efforts by speaking with students and parents on the benefits of the program • Document comprehensive, initial and follow-up assessments on each student in the program and monitor the implementation of program curriculum in accordance with applicable policies and regulations • Design and conduct bi-monthly staff development training sessions on program strategies, research based instructions and philosophies to better meet the needs of students while adhering to program guidelines• Provide awareness, professional development, education, and training to staff regarding the needs, issues, and challenges facing students to identify emerging problems and devise appropriate plans for educational services• Participates in DoDEA system-wide assessment programs as well as inform school administration of education deficiencies, critical issues, and emergencies• Coordinates and makes suggestions on the number of program sections and where those classes should be placed in the schedule• Facilitate requests from administration, teacher leadership teams, and other staff to model program strategies
