I have been blessed to work in every department of Elkhart Plastics Plant 1 and occasionally I work in Plant 2. CNC operator is my latest role. In any given day I can float from one area to another with ease. My specialty is custom operations for specific customer products such as hydraulic and fuel tanks. Knowledge is acquired over time and customer needs are always evolving in our industry so each day we are implementing new technology into our workplace. One goal has defined me. Quality. No matter which department I\'m in or what part I\'m working on the customer is paramount. I stand behind all my parts with pride. I have had the opportunity to get to meet and visit some of our customers and it gave me a better insight as to their needs and put a face to the companies we supply. Insight into customer expectations is vital to any production employee and I\'m very grateful to Elkhart Plastics for giving me the opportunities I\'ve had with our customers. Each day is a learning experience and I work with a close knit family of people that work as a team. As for experience,the list is long. Tools,from routers,drills to robotic arms. I have helped write work instructions,helped set up production lines,am trained in CPR and OSHA standards. I seize every opportunity I can to learn and thrive on the production floor. As a member of the safety committee I have become more conscious of the workplace environment and am passionate about implementing a safe mindset in my fellow employees and responsibility and accountability for one\'s own safety in the workforce. A job shouldn\'t just be a job. My role is to complement my employer by learning and striving to exceed our customer\'s expectations,enhance the workplace through safety and team building,and to utilize cost efficiency and time management.
