Main Responsibilities: • Calculation, amortization, accruals, accounting, and payment processing of the Property Taxes for all physical locations owned by Novartis USA.• Creation of invoices for third parties as well as follow up for payment with the various clients and reconcile the miscellaneous receivables account. • Management, control, and amortization of all the prepaid invoices and service contracts for several divisions within Novartis US.• Forecasting the next 6 & 12 months of activity for several accounts under my responsibility, explaining variances if there were any significant one.• On a monthly basis provide analysis to senior management on the variations of accounts under my responsibility. As well as submit the reporting package for the entirety of an entity under Novartis umbrella.• Analysis, booking and control of accruals. Making sure, every cost and expense that we have incurred on is booked, for the divisions previously stated. Including temporary workers accruals, telecom accruals, travel and expense accruals, calculation of sales commissions’ accruals and more. • Perform the monthly account reconciliations process for more than 35 different accounts. Analyzing, investigating, supporting and correcting the overall balance of said accounts. Main Achievements: • Successfully implemented and migrated the way in which various internal customer would submit their requests from e-mail based to a web based ticket system, in which they could track the status of their requests.• Successfully investigated the nature of old balances in several accounts, working with different teams all over the world to clear old items.• Coordination and implementation of “Continuous Accounting” project for US companies.• Work on the processes that were handed to me during the KT process, improving the quality, accuracy, and time in which they are performed.
