ABOUT MARTHA BERNARDO
I am a writer based in the southwest of England, with years of experience in the entertainment and travel industries across marketing, content and PR. My fiction has been published in The London Magazine and the Ink Anthology of New Writing, and I was shortlisted for the national Galley Beggar Short Story Prize. Previous roles have included Communications & Sales Manager at Wiltshire Creative, home to Salisbury Playhouse, Salisbury Arts Centre and the Salisbury International Arts Festival; Senior Staff Writer for an online entertainment portal in both London and Boston, Massachusetts; PR and Content Marketing for an award-winning special interest travel company across six brands; and I have also worked in radio for BBC Introducing. I have an MA in Creative and Life Writing from Goldsmiths College in London and a BA in English and American Literature with Creative Writing from the University of Kent in Canterbury as well as Mount Holyoke College in Western Massachusetts, USA.
