ABOUT MARTA QUADROS BRITO

I\'m completely passionate about life, people, and the world. I believe in talent but above all, I believe in the power of hard work, energy, curiosity, and creativity to succeed. As an Engineer who has always worked hard to become one, I thrive on challenges, solving problems, and my goal is to add value so I can have a meaningful impact on organizations on a global scale. Being a geek entrepreneur with a passion for education, made me found Girls in Tech Portugal and go to different high schools to talk about my experience as a STEM student/young professional, impacting 1360+ young students in 1 year of activity, along with what is now a group of 30+ university STEM students. When at 15 years old I decided to take-off to a summer camp at London\'s Harrow School for the purpose of honing my English skills to be fully bi-lingual in my native Portuguese and English. Harrow School subsequently became a big part of my professional career as I ended up working with them in various capacities all with progressive responsibilities within the camp. This willingness to have an impact is also what drove me to do Erasmus in Finland. I\'m eager to learn, explore, share, and offer the best of myself in all projects and challenges I face. All of these experiences have allowed me to connect with a wide variety of people and cultures, enjoying a level of responsibility that made me develop an extensive range of skills from teamwork to independent work, resilience, problem-solving, and the importance of professionalism in a high-pressure work environment.
