ABOUT MARTA GALÁN DÍEZ
I\'m a molecular biologist with 15+ years of experience across academia and industry, from Madrid to New York. My path has taken me from host–pathogen interactions in my PhD to mucosal immunity and leukemia research at Columbia University, where I became an Associate Research Scientist and led translational projects on the bone marrow niche role in development and progression of AML and MDS.In 2022, I joined Regeneron and shifted gears into biotech, first in Cell Therapy (engineering NK cells and CAR platforms), and now in Immuno-Oncology. I lead preclinical programs for solid tumors using bispecific antibodies and collaborate closely with Clinical, Medical Affairs, and Precision Medicine to bridge science and strategy.What drives me? Curiosity, collaboration, and the belief that rigorous science and cross-functional teamwork can turn ideas into therapies. I\'m also a mentor, a communicator, and someone who loves connecting dots (and people) between disciplines.18 publications, citations, and a lot of learning along the way.
