Career Highlights 22 years of Event & Project Management Experience Successfully delivered the Life Saving World Championships, Rescue 2012 generating an approximate $16.56M to the South Australian economy. Engaged international clients, stakeholders, journalists to attend Rescue 2012 with the largest National Team attendance for a Southern or Northern hemisphere championship, exceeding South Australian Tourism Commission key performance indicators and that of the International Life Saving Federation. Promoted to Manager Marketing Operations, managing four portfolios including Marketing, Brand Management, Risk Management and the creation of an events division. Successfully contributed to a major company restructure and as a result was appointed Acting General Manager across Australia and New Zealand overseeing 23 aquatic and leisure facilities. Successfully managed all sponsorship portfolios annually incorporating media contracts with both television and radio. Delivered on all contractual obligations in association with special projects. Currently acquitting $2.3M for Rescue 2012. Prior to project (Rescue 2012) delivery leveraged existing financial and in-kind contributions to exceed original partnership targets. Built and maintained relationships with commercial clients (both Nationally & Internationally) and government agencies. Developed governance structures. Lead the business development team creating tender submissions and presented business cases to the board of directors. Lead creative marketing workshops to develop marketing, communication and advertising strategies. Successfully managed 1400 employees and 300 volunteers, including contract management. Inclusive of special projects staff recruitment of approximately 700 employees. Developed and implemented centralised marketing strategies which increased membership and enrolment numbers. Developed and streamlined risk management procedures and systems to create efficiencies.
