ABOUT MARKUS BAUMANN
Being an advertising salesman and a business economist, I‘ve spent roughly 5 years in full service advertising agencies eg at GREY Global Group in Düsseldorf as well as 12 years in cinema advertising business. In 2017, I started working for BARCO Entertainment in Germany and later on I‘ve got the opportunity to join Cinionic right from the start. At Cinionic, we were 100% dedicated to cinema - having had a strong BARCO heritage. As of January 1st, 2024 Cinionic is rejoining Barco. Since 2015, I‘m a jury member in the moving-images section of the Content Marketing Forum which yearly hosts the Best of Content Marketing Award. I love travelling as well as good food and I would never refuse a nice cup of serious espresso as long as it comes out of a semiautomatic espresso machine. I live in and mostly work from Germany.
