I work on the Charnwood and North West Leicestershire Scale-Up Programmes, identifying businesses within these districts that have ambitions to grow and scale. I collaborate closely with selected business owners to thoroughly analyze their operations, identify key barriers holding them back, and develop a tailored growth action plan. This plan focuses on a priority business improvement project, enabling them to engage with external experts needed to accelerate growth. The programme supports this initiative by providing 50/50 matched funding towards the project costs.Additionally, I maintain strong partnerships with regional stakeholders, including Charnwood Borough Council, North West Leicestershire District Council, Loughborough University, Innovate UK, DBT, and other support agencies, all of which contribute to supporting the growth aspirations of local businesses.
