ABOUT MARK WALWYN

With over 30 years of experience, I began my career on the production line at J C Walwyn & Sons, dedicating 20 years to the Veneering and pressed panel division. In 2013, I transitioned to financial costing, taking on the role previously held by my father, Philip. In 2024, I was honoured to join the board of directors along with other family members, contributing expertise in product costings, pricing strategies, and process optimisation. My meticulous approach ensures precision in areas such as bespoke quotes, stock and material valuations, cost forecasting, and VAT submissions. As a specialist in Excel-based VBA programming, I have designed automated tools that streamline costing processes, margin analysis, and pricing updates. I am also proficient in CRM systems like HubSpot, where I manage customer records, generate actionable insights, and oversee seamless invoicing operations. Great to be part of a fastly progressing family business as it grows and evolves.
