Possess a strong skill set in both the management of the IT function and the delivery of complex technology projects, enabling me to achieve successful organisational outcomes. A proven track record of transforming the systems environment through simplifying, standardizing and digitizing work processes, appropriate application of technology best practice, adaptable project management, clever integration between operational and business IT and a strong focus on change management. This has been coupled with a talent for building and nurturing diverse teams that can deliver outcomes that delight system users. Also capable of balancing the budget and working seamlessly within the financial, commercial and governance framework of the corporate world. Throughout my working career, have always taken the approach that how you tackle a challenge with the team must always compliment the outcome or it is not possible to claim success. Bringing the right attitude and behaviour to my various roles has consistently allowed me to earn respect even when I was not the technical guru. For me, true leaders are great listeners and always quick to pass on compliments to the team, yet they are even quicker to wear full responsibility when anything does not quite go to plan and will ensure the team learns from the mistake once the urgency for resolution has subsided.
