Thermio+ Gyvlon launches the 1st screed in the UK that has been developed purely for use with underfloor heating.(launched at Eco Build 4-6th March 2014) Its unique formulation allows the screed,\'Thermio+\' to be installed with 20mm minimum coverage over the heating pipes. Thermio+ offers considerable savings on fuel bills with faster heat-up, and more efficient use of the chosen heating system. the 1st pour took place at Littlethorpe in County Durham, on 25th March, 180m2 at 40mm thick. The Halston Hotel at Carlisle gets a \'pink make over\'. Thermio+ with its unique formula and red pigmentation has just been installed at the re-furbishment of the Halston Hotel in Carlisle. Over 675m2 of Thermio+ was poured in a single visit by Lakes Liquid Screeds. The project was run by Simon Harrison of Harrison Northern Ltd, and Thermio+ was chosen as it is the only screed in the UK that could be installed at 40mm thick, important to the project to meet with critical floor-ceiling heights. The underfloor heating was designed by Tailored Heat Supplies from Carlisle.
