Currently leading a project team (contract value £20k) reviewing all of SMG’s Contractor Management procedures and permits to work – one of the most wide-reaching and impacting procedures across the Group and one of the largest consultative pieces undertaken by H&S in recent years with over 100 people consulted.• Lead on the development and implementation of pre-construction ‘preparedness workshop’ process, significantly improving coordination between construction sites and operational museums.• Lead on client side CDM audits and provision of both CDM and operational H&S advice to over £100M of projects on major gallery redevelopments and construction works across SMG. Major projects include:o Sound and Vision, NSMM, Bradfordo Power Hall, SIM, Manchestero Wonderlab, NRM, Yorko New Hall, Locomotion, Shildono SIM reroofing and upper yard redevelopment, SIM, Manchestero Central Hall, NRM, York• Lead on the provision of H&S advice, training and monitoring for several sites across GroupSupporting sites to implement group Health, Safety and Wellbeing procedures and advising departments on how these procedures might be interpreted and implemented • Maintaining key relationships with key stakeholders to support with embedding H&S into all activities including with the high-risk departments where I support a number of major projects • Lead on internal audits across various teams and sites within SMG• H&S lead at Northern H&S committees• Provision of fire safety advice on daily operational matters and new exhibitions galleries, including advising when external expertise may be required • Sit on project and senior stakeholder strategic meetings at all Northern sites, providing H&S advice for key decisions to be taken.• Undertaking incident investigations and support colleagues to complete them.
