ABOUT MARK RAFFERTY

Mark is an agile chartered civil engineer with a breadth of experience working on infrastructure projects including water, drainage and wastewater. He has knowledge of energy and rail projects from previous employment which helped to shape him into an engineer who is comfortable independently solving complex problems and one who can lead a team in technically demanding multi-disciplinary projects. Throughout his career Mark has used analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions on these complex projects. He currently leads the civil design for drainage and watermains projects, managing project workload, resource, programme, finance, and contractual obligations. Mark is open to challenges and does not shy away from change. Over the 15 years of his career Mark has delivered a wide range of projects for Contractor’s, Private Clients, and Public bodies and gained international experience with a previous employer through secondment to the UAE. He has administered and managed contracts including the NEC3 / NEC4 Contracts. Mark prepares financial information and data on projects for input to both internal and external financial management systems. He is responsible for preparing fee estimates to win work.
