I am a chartered building and heritage qualified surveyor with over twenty five years’ experience in commercial and residential property. I am also an affiliate member of the Institution of Historic Building Conservation and a member of the conservation forum of the RICS. I have broad experience in professional and project matters, and this, together with my academic studies where I was awarded a 1st class MSc reading Historic Building Conservation from the University of Bath, have naturally led me to focus on commercial and residential heritage commissions and being recognised as one of the trusted heritage specialist within the region.The range of services I can provide include; due-diligence, condition and building surveys for acquisition and disposal, dilapidation, planned maintenance, Party Wall and heritage consultancy including recording heritage assets (in line with Historic England\'s guidelines), heritage impact assessments and statements of significance to support planning and listed building applications (in line with the NPPF requirements). I also undertake specialist heritage stone façade and preventative planned maintenance (PPM) surveys and can provide costed quinquennial reports. I manage the repair, alteration and improvement works to commercial and residential assets. I can provide guidance on appropriate improvements which could be made to buildings to enhance energy performance and EPC ratings. I provided project management, principle designer and contract administration services, and can draw on trusted planning, architectural, structural, M&E, environmental and quantity surveying colleagues to support proposed repairs, alterations, improvements and development.
