As Head of Strategy and Portfolio within Shell\'s LNG, Gas and Power Trading division, I built and led a global team responsible for shaping strategic direction, optimising portfolios, and driving digital transformation. My role focused on delivering data-driven insights, establishing new commercial capabilities, and leading key initiatives in evolving energy markets.Key Responsibilities & Achievements Built and led a global team of 15+ professionals across Strategy, Portfolio/Carbon Optimisation, and Business Intelligence functions, operating as a key member of the Trading Leadership Team. Established a carbon optimisation desk and spearheaded the development and implementation of robust ESG reporting frameworks and Carbon Management strategies across Shell Energy. Led strategic initiatives in renewable energy markets (green power, biomethane, flexible power), while building a Business Intelligence think-tank and guiding digital transformation for LNG, gas and power trading operations. Led the 10-year financial planning process for low carbon volumes, ensuring long-term strategic alignment and resource allocation in line with sustainability goals. Sponsored and served as Lead Mentor for Shell’s Startup Accelerator, providing strategic advice to over 10 startups in the Energy Tech sector.
