ABOUT MARISSA MICHEL
Marissa Michel is a senior Media Arts Production-BFA student at Emerson College. She is currently a Program Planning Intern at Versant Media. She worked as a 2025 Program Planning Intern under NBCU, and a 2025 Development Intern at Myriad Pictures. She worked as a 2024 Spring Creative Intern at American High. Marissa seeks to continue working in content strategy and marketing in film, TV, and music. She is the Marketing Director and a Board Member for the on-campus organization Women in Motion. She has held several leadership positions involving entertainment at Emerson College, including 2025 Deputy Workshop Coordinator for Frames Per second, Submissions and Nominations Coordinator for EVVY44, and 20••••25 Director of Development for Emerson Independent Video. Marissa has worked on over 20 short films, and the feature film Atrabilious (2024). Committed to excellence in filmmaking, her feature script “Milkweed” was a semifinalist in the 2024 Shore Scripts Feature Competition and a quarterfinalist in the 2024 Screencraft Drama Competition. A lover of great stories, Marissa is passionate about working with teams to prepare for every step of the artistic process. She is proficient in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Final Draft.
