ABOUT MARIO BINI
The CMO as a communication function in digital businesses is dead. In its place is an enterprise value engineer: building machines (demand generation, acquisition, extraction) that run at multi-market scale with a small team of hyper-technical people. I watched this shift emerge at Uber Eats, designed it at N26 with millions of full-funnel spend across 20 markets, and I\'m building it now as CMO at Bondora. The pattern repeats: the CMOs who matter in the next decade look more like operators than communicators. They speak the language of CFOs, ship measurable systems, and treat \"brand campaigns without a forecast\" as what they are: expensive folklore.Currently CMO at Bondora. Previously N26, Alibaba, Uber, Google, Deloitte Digital, Microsoft. ESCP EMBA.
