ABOUT MARIELLE HAZAMA LEE
Driven by a passion for behavioural science, I aim to bring scientific psychological insight to the field of sustainable, inclusive development.I led King’s Affair 2024, one of Cambridge University’s most prestigious events, managing a 48-person committee and overseeing a £200k+ budget. This role required translating creative vision into operational strategy, developing the King’s Affair brand, and managing diverse stakeholders.I founded and chair the King’s College Spiking Prevention Working Group, successfully securing permanent funding for safety initiatives benefiting students across Cambridge. This programme has since been adopted by multiple Colleges, contributing to safer student communities University-wide.At the 2025 Nudgeathon, I co-designed a behavioural intervention that earned 3rd place for improving mobile banking access for rural farmers in Sierra Leone. This experience deepened my commitment to leveraging behavioural science for meaningful social impact.
