ABOUT MARIE DELEPIERE
In 2004 after few years in the cultural universe, Marie meets Hando, his future husband, with whom he begins to collaborate and dream of even more distant horizons. Together, they multiply the activities of Paris Hanoi and in 2006, another restaurant comes to life, The Little Hanoi which, in turn, also becomes a success. They then start offering cooking classes and the ‘Labo Événementiel’ (a catering space) becomes a magnificent restored workshop, entirely dedicated to Vietnamese culinary transmission on the heights of Père-Lachaise. The knowledge transmitted by the ancients, a few seeds of common sense, a large dose of intuition, a lot of work and for sure a shining star are the main virtues of their success. Every year with their two children, Marie and Hando crisscross the globe and absorb the perfumes, colors, flavors and textures of the different cuisines of the world. During their first visit to New York, it is a revelation that gives them the impetus to fly on their own. Galvanized by these years of travel and experience, the couple creates a consulting company ‘Made in Vietnam’ and start planning to explore beyond the continents. And today, the culmination of her life experiences Marie starts during the Covid a new adventure and realize a old dream called « Home Sweet Nest Bakery » in New York and since September in Los Angeles.
