ABOUT MARIE ØRBECK-ANDERSSEN

During my time at KPMG, I have had the opportunity to be part of the management team of my department, and I also serve as a performance manager for a group of employees. As an employee representative on the KPMG board, I\'ve been able to influence strategic decisions and ensure that employees\' perspectives are heard. I actively participate in national initiatives for process improvements and serve as a speaker at external events with collaborating partners. I am involved in internal recruitment processes, acting as an interviewer and contributor at student events. Additionally, I serve as a sparring partner for client management, participate in client board meetings, and lecture at our yearly learning and development sessions for our employees. My work in the marketplace to attract new clients and promote our brand is instrumental in our growth. The varied nature of my job allows me to work closely with clients\' leadership, providing valuable insights beyond just numbers. My unique understanding of business operations enables me to contribute to important discussions, decisions and influence the development of companies in various areas. I demonstrate strengths in audit, accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, project management, and leadership. I am dedicated to fostering strong relationships, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering impactful results. I excel in communication and problem-solving, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in all my projects. I am also passionate about sustainability, and as a certified bærekraftsrevisor, I ensure that companies comply with the new CSRD framework and align with environmental and social responsibility.
