The International Network for the Reduction of Abortion Discrimination and Stigma (inroads) supports, connects, and nurtures over 2,500 fearless activists and community organizations dedicated to advancing stigma-free abortion access in 110+ countries. We envision a world where abortion care is centered around the needs, experiences, leadership, and requirements of those who have them. We are creating a future where we have the tools and resources to transform systemic, legal, medical, and interpersonal levels of stigma so that people can be free to access and experience abortion on their own terms.

ABOUT MARIANA GONZÁLEZ C.

Passionate about building collective power to support intersectional human rights, gender & reproductive justice, and migrant communities. As a professional, my areas of expertise are project and program management, multidisciplinary communications, and building partnerships across movements and ecosystems. I\'m a mission-driven achiever with planning and organizational skills and extensive international and remote work experience leading projects and teams.I am proud to be currently working at inroads, a global network dedicated to nurturing and resourcing stigma-busting abortion justice movements worldwide. Within the inroads team, I amplify transformative narratives for a world free of abortion stigma and co-organize spaces and campaigns for movement building, including the 2023 Latin American and Caribbean Abortion Justice Circle—a powerful in-person regional gathering with grassroots activists and collectives from 21 countries—and the inaugural Global Day of Action to Destigmatize Abortions. Over the years, my professional career thrived side by side with my passion for women\'s rights, youth leadership, and social justice. A conviction that led me to work for several years with AIESEC, volunteer for the Latin American Women\'s Rights Service and the Abortion Rights UK Bootcamp, and to lead the development of Onda Feminista — a Spanish-speaking feminist media platform and collective dedicated to fostering gender equality in Latin America, reaching over readers annually since 2016.
