In close cooperation with internal customers I am identifying upstream purchasing priorities (project and recurring) and areas for optimisation on the national level for French Private Banking. My responsibilites include- Ensuring the processing of purchasing needs, including identification of suppliers, tenders, analysis, commercial and contractual negotiation in compliance with the best practices and procedures applicable at the ABN Amro group level (Procurement & Outsourcing, Travel, ABC Policy.)- In conjunction with the legal department, participating in the formalization of contracts- Reviewing the tools and operating methods in place and suggest areas for improvement (methods, tools, processes) with a view to improving the overall efficiency of the end-to-end purchasing process and controlling costs- In relation to the various internal customers, establishing the panel of preferred suppliers by category and sub-category on the basis of cost, quality and sustainability criteria in line with the purchasing strategy, and ensure their dynamic management with a view to significant rationalisation- Administrating and monitoring the contract life cycle in the ARIBA tool, and challenge business specifiers and suppliers in the context of renewals- Adapting the Purchasing documentation to support the business lines and provide them with educational and awareness-raising activities to ensure compliance with the rules applicable to purchasing in the financial sector- Managing purchasing scope: half-yearly analysis of the amounts actually spent, identification of deviations from the procedures in place, communication with the departments concerned in order to strengthen the positioning of the Purchasing function. Produce the reporting elements on the families concerned (Coverage of expenses / Savings amounts / Number of suppliers, etc.)- Project Management – Implementation of EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing.
