ABOUT MARIAH W.
At 12, I embarked on my first business venture: selling handmade jewelry at local farmers\' markets. I designed my logo, created marketing materials and even donated half of my profits to the Terry Fox Foundation. While short-lived, that business sparked an entrepreneurial fire in me that has never dimmed.Today, I am a marketing specialist in the architecture industry, where I craft compelling brand narratives, develop strategic campaigns and help shape the public presence of architectural firms. My role allows me to blend creativity with strategy to ensure that a firm\'s unique value proposition is effectively communicated to key audiences.In addition to my marketing career, I am an entrepreneur with a photography and creative business. I work with clients ranging from media companies to academic institutions to provide photography, web design, copyediting and branding services. My passion lies in capturing the stories that shape urban life by combining my background in Urban Studies with my business acumen to bring creative visions to life.With a Master of Management from the Haskayne School of Business, I am continuously exploring opportunities to merge my expertise in marketing, design and urban development to create meaningful impact in our community.
