For over 30 years, I’ve led mission-critical transformation across the aviation and aerospace sectors, delivering sustainable growth while navigating complex operational, regulatory, and geopolitical dynamics. As President and CEO of CAE for over 15 years, I had the privilege of leading a global team of more than people in 40 countries—helping to shape the future of aviation training, defence readiness, and emerging technologies that continue to redefine the industry.Today, I continue to lend that experience as a public company board director and strategic advisor—bringing a CEO’s lens to growth, governance, and global competitiveness. I currently serve on the boards of CPKC, TELUS, and the McGill University Health Centre Foundation.As CEO of CAE, I led the company through a period of significant transformation—more than doubling revenue to C$4.7B, delivering a 540% shareholder return, and shifting over two-thirds of revenue to high-margin, recurring services. At every step, I championed inclusive leadership and talent development, building and motivating fantastic teams to accomplish extraordinary things. We embedded agility and innovation into the core of our culture, from integrating AI and immersive tech into global training platforms to pivoting production during the pandemic to manufacture life-saving ventilators.Before joining CAE, I spent two decades at Bombardier Aerospace, beginning as an engineer and advancing into senior leadership roles across North America. I helped lead its transformation into a global aviation powerhouse—overseeing aircraft programmes like the Challenger, Global Express, CRJ, Dash 8, and Learjet, and directing operations at major Canadian and U.S. sites. From design and certification to manufacturing and supply chain integration, I touched every facet of development and helped scale the aerospace business to nearly $15B.From earning my pilot’s licence at 17 to leading CAE as CEO, aviation has always been more than a career—it’s been a lifelong passion. Therefore, it is a true honour to have been recognised over the years by organisations I deeply respect, including the Order of Canada, Ordre national du Québec, and Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame.
