I am happy to announce that as of September 2025, I am beginning an exciting new role as Executive Medical Director, Cardiovascular at Syneos Health. I had briefly retired as of July 25th, 2024. Previously, I had served as Senior Director, Early Cardiovascular Clinical Development at Bristol-Myers Squibb from November 2018 through July 2024. While at Bristol-Myers Squibb, I was a Clinical Trial Physician and Clinical Lead for assets under study for Heart Failure, Atherosclerosis, and Acute Myocardial Infarction/Post-MI.Prior to that, I served as U.S.CV Medical Director -Heart Failure Lead at Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA from 20••••18. Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, I had worked in clinical cardiology practice for more than 30 years in Buffalo, NY, and as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. I had also served as a principal investigator for many clinical trials across the spectrum of cardiovascular diseases and served as a national speaker, educator, and consultant for a number of pharmaceutical companies. I had also served as Medical Director of the Echocardiography and Non-Invasive Cardiology Laboratory.Specialties: Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease, Lipid disorders and Cholesterol, hypertension, Echocardiography Atrial Fibrillation, Diabetes, Preventative Cardiology
