I’m a Software Engineer at Ema focused on designing and implementing our Generative Workflow Engine (GWE). My day-to-day work revolves around defining proto-based interfaces, orchestrating AI-driven “actions” and external integrations (like Paragon), and ensuring multi-tenant setups through persona-based configurations. I use Go, Python, gRPC, and Protobuf to create type-safe, configurable workflows that blend everything from advanced data search to human-in-the-loop review steps.I’m also deeply involved in making LLM capabilities accessible within GWE. This involves writing and refining workflow orchestration code, managing asynchronous calls, and building out high-level abstractions for AI “skills” and APIs. The ultimate goal is to give business users and admins the power to quickly configure and deploy rich, generative AI workflows—all while maintaining rigorous validation, security, and performance standards.
