ABOUT MALCOLM ROBERTS MIMECHE
With 35 years’ experience in building engineering, I’ve recently been focused on project and operations management. I’ve successfully managed numerous large and complex projects, achieving cost effective, high quality and timely completion and complete client satisfaction. As a leader, I take pride in managing, coaching and mentoring my teams to deliver excellent performance. I’ve led multicultural, multidisciplinary teams around the world and can influence and negotiate at all levels. Colleagues would describe me as financially astute and committed to driving compliance with regulations, local legislation and best practice. Health and safety is also of prime importance to me. I accept challenges head on, strive for perfection, work very efficiently in any environment that presents itself; as evidenced in my years at Stabilisation Unit/FCO, Afghanistan as a Project and Contracts Manager working in hostile environments where safety of staff and security is of paramount importance.I enjoy being part of a project team engaged from inception to handover and to sense that feeling of achievement. I believe my experience in skills transfer, managing, directing, coaching and mentoring multi-disciplined and culturally diverse workforces makes me an ideal candidate for positions such as Building Services Engineer/Facility Manager/Project Manager/Operation Manager and Maintenance Manager roles where I can utilise this experience, further develop my skills and add considerable value to a company.
