ABOUT MALCOLM FORSYTH

My main focus is to help businesses and charities develop true sustainability, sound strategy and good governance. As a consultant, I work alongside organisations to support them in developing and executing strategies which will robustly address their sustainability challenges and deliver positive, long-term outcomes across all 3 key sustainability pillars of environment, society and business. To help achieve this, I also work as an Associate of Sustainable Growth Associates, a network organisation who represent the Natural Step approach to sustainability in Germany.I have also now taken on the role of Sustainability Manager at the Composites UK Trade Association, where I will be helping to develop the sustainability of the whole UK Composites industry supply chain, including working with individual companies and coordinating industry wide responses to key challenges such as end of life value recovery, recycling, and how to achieve a circular Composites economy with net zero impact.I am also developing my portfolio of charity positions - I am now chair of trustees for the charity 500k International, a young charity which supports church planting and growth across South East Asia; I am also a trustee of Scripture Union, a long-established Christian charity helping young people explore and live out a life of faith, and I am a trustee of my local church congregation.I bring to these roles many years experience as a company board and executive-level director with strong strategic, people and commercial skills, and significant global experience in the Chemical and Composite Manufacturing industries. My recent senior roles have developed broad & deep people leadership skills, business leadership insights across all key functions, strong strategy analysis, formulation and execution skills and above all, a recognition of the vital importance of sustainability thinking for future viability and success in all organisations, and the knowledge of how to effectively implement this thinking.Overall, I am a dynamic, strategic and compassionate individual with the ability to engage, communicate and motivate well at all levels and across cultures and as a result, I can help organisations deliver strong and sustainable business results and outcomes.
