Supporting leaders across the organisation to develop and implement a diversity and inclusion strategy that will improve the health equality outcomes for the local community and equality outcomes within NHSE\'s workforce. Working closely with internal managers and leaders to provide expertise and advice on ensuring all the organisation’s policies, processes, strategies and operations reduce discrimination and promote equality.Mobilising the EDI improvement plan and accompanying EDI Strategy. Leading a team of Diversity, Inclusion and Participation Managers operating nationally and engaging with key stakeholders to create a culture shift within the organisation. Bridging the gap between regional and national priorities and challenges, using an evidence based approach and building on ‘what works’. Ensuring that all relevant teams within NHSE have accurate and up to date information on the governance and compliance requirements in relation to diversity and inclusion and making recommendations to improve performance, where appropriate.
