ABOUT MALACHI MURLJACIC
I am highly-motivated and proud Kunja (Aboriginal) person, with demonstrated experience in Indigenous Affairs - public policy & programs, international development (UNDP), social entrepreneurship, and non-government/not-for-profit organisations. With a passion for people, community, and connection, I demonstrate strong networking, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. I am passionate about utilising my strengths towards positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.Outside of my day job work, I am actively involved in Kunja language revival, enjoy volunteering with and mentoring young people, and train and compete in ultra distance endurance events. I am an Ironman (through the IRONMOB program by TriMob) and Ultramarathon finisher.
