The main purpose of this project is to migrate from Symposium to Genesys System. Both Symposium and Genesys are automated 3rd party Enterprise Line of Business application systems, to handle customer phone calls. When a customer calls these systems, it will provide automated greetings, take pre-call inputs, and reroute to relevant customer service representative based upon inputs. Delta have purchased Genesys application which have better features than Symposium. Initially it was handled by Symposium application. Genesys can handle calls in a better way. Example, it will automatically understand the call volume of a Geographical location and reduce wait time/reroute time. As part of this change, four main internal application; which relay on legacy Symposium system got changed. Those changes are in ASP.net, Angular, Widow’s application, SSRS reports and SQL back end changes. I was part of all major analysis, development and fixes.
