ABOUT MADISON LEDFORD
Hi I’m Maddie! I’m a 2023 graduate from Cal Poly SLO with a degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration, and a concentration in Tourism, Destination, and Hospitality Management. Upon graduating, I took a career hiatus to fulfill my longtime dream of traveling solo around Europe and completing the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile pilgrimage route I embarked on across Spain with little to no expectations, ultimately becoming the most meaningful, spiritual experience of my life thus far. I have seven years of experience in customer service, five of those in food retail specifically. Hospitality is the industry I am meant to be in as it blends my love for customer-facing roles, an emphasis on relationship building and maintaining, and food. I have always had a passion for food and cooking, which has been especially enhanced after living in Madrid for a year and experiencing different European cuisines. Since moving back last August, I have found joy in hosting small dinner parties for friends & family with curated seasonal menus. I am currently seeking opportunities in food service and retail sales, and am open to relocating.
