EMR Metal Recycling is a global leader in sustainable materials, spanning across the UK, Europe and the US. As Global Social Media Manager, I manage all social media platforms for EMR Global (UK, USA, NL and DE) and their subsidiary companies, including MBA Polymers UK Ltd, Mayer and Reusable Steels. I work closely with the rest of the Marketing and PR team, as well as Recruitment, EMR site employees, international teams and company Directors. Our goal is to educate our audiences on EMR\'s sustainability efforts and the importance of recycling and the circular economy.My role is hybrid, working 3 days remotely and 2 days at EMR Head Office in Warrington. My role is diverse and changes daily. Some of my responsibilities include - Manage all social channels (over 25 channels and counting, spanning Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok) creating content across all platforms in collaboration with my team, using SEMRush for scheduling and analytics- Manage paid ad campaigns and data reporting- Manage all customer service and support via socials (answering direct messages)- Collaborate with my team for marketing events, partnerships and brand collaborations- Work closely with Recruitment to educate and engage employees in social activity and aid recruitment efforts via socials- Develop and launch social media projects, including the launch of regional Facebook groups and group-wide social media training- Manage our marketing calendar and calendar of world events eg. Recycle Week, World Environment Day etc- Work with employees across the business to share good news stories, site updates, PR and CSR activity and customer activity- Create assets and copy for socials and marketing comms on Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud software- Creating and presenting social media training for our colleagues and commercial team.
