ABOUT JATIN MADAN

I am a versatile international business professional with a 20+ years of experience in managing Supply Chains, Global Programs, and Operations. I possess experience in diverse industries such as Electronics, Appliances, Paints, and Engineering Goods.Though I started my career in International Sales & Marketing, I was quick to realize the need to smartly manage increasingly complex global supply chains. Wanting to learn from the best, I worked hard to acquire the CSCP designation from APICS/Chicago in 2008 and became the first Certified Supply Chain Professional in LG globally. The formal body of knowledge helped me manage complex supply chains that had elements like multi-national raw material procurement, multi-location production, and global distribution. Using my supply chain skills to complement my flair in international marketing, I grew LG India’s international business by 15 times in less than 10 years. I have successfully managed important programs and projects such as New Product Introduction and Launch, Feasibility Studies, Product Line Finalization, Suppliers Selection and Contracts Finalization, Design and Implement Supply Planning Framework, GTM Strategy Implementation, New Factory Setup, OTD rate improvement, etc.Exploring and capitalizing on the global opportunities, I have gathered a wealth of experience by partnering with internal and external customers from 70+ countries in Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Levant, and Africa. The business pursuits have made me travel to 50+ countries. I am proficient in English with a basic understanding of Portuguese, Russian, and French. By training, I am an MBA and a Graduate Electronics Engineer. In addition to CSCP, the continuous learner in me acquired professional designations in International Trade (CITP from FITT/Canada) and Project Management (PMP). I am a digital transformation enthusiast and early adopter, recently acquiring abilities through a program at Columbia Business School.
