With a demonstrated history of success in higher education communications and marketing, I am passionate about using creative, data-driven strategies to amplify institutional missions and address communications challenges, delivering results for the institutions I serve. I recently started a new role as vice president for communications and marketing at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), a world-class R1 institution with more than students. I lead a team of 27 communications and marketing professionals who partner with divisions and departments across the university to deliver strategic marketing and communications campaigns. Previously, as vice president of marketing and communications at Goucher College, I led a dynamic team that created and executed integrated marketing and communications strategies that elevated the college\'s brand and drove engagement, applications, and donations. Our recent in-house development of the \"Inspiring Global Changemakers\" brand showcased the team\'s expertise in storytelling, content production, and digital marketing. I am currently pursuing an MFA in Nonfiction to further refine my ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
