As a Product Manager at Nexus Mods, I work on the platform and infrastructure that powers one of the world’s largest gaming modding ecosystems, supporting millions of users and creators across thousands of games.I initially helped shape the development of our next-generation mod manager, working closely with engineering, design, and the community to solve complex challenges around scalable mod delivery, load order management, dependency handling, and conflict resolution in highly customised game environments.I am now part of the Platform team, where my focus has expanded to the systems, services, and infrastructure that underpin the entire Nexus Mods ecosystem. Nexus Mods is Cloudflare’s largest UK customer, and I work closely with engineering teams and external partners to ensure the platform remains performant, resilient, and secure at significant scale.My role spans platform strategy, live service operations, trust & safety, and sustainable monetisation, balancing long-term infrastructure investment with meaningful user and business impact.Key areas of focus include:• Platform-level product discovery to identify and solve systemic scalability, performance, and reliability challenges• Aligning platform strategy with community trust, creator sustainability, and business objectives• Supporting a high-traffic, globally distributed platform operating at Cloudflare scale• Leading trust & safety initiatives, including age verification, automated CSAM detection, and abuse prevention systems• Enabling sustainable, user-friendly monetisation through programmatic advertising and platform services• Building tools, APIs, and internal frameworks that empower creators, users, and partner teams• Working cross-functionally across engineering, design, moderation, community, and leadership teams• Applying continuous discovery, rapid iteration, and data-informed decision-making on a live, community-driven platform
