Leading on infrastructure enhancements for the East Coast Mainline, the key rail artery between London, Yorkshire, the North-East and Scotland.Accountable for a major portfolio of infrastructure projects to improve this critical rail corridor. This includes the East Coast Digital programme, the first installation of digital signalling technology on a UK main line railway. It also covers a range of conventional enhancements projects including depots, stations, rail systems and 3rd party schemes.A hugely rewarding role that allows me to shape the future of rail services on the East Coast Mainline and make sure passengers and freight customers will get a better experience for years to come. Project managers ‘build things right’ and my team ensures they ‘build the right thing’.
