ABOUT LUDMILLA JARDA
I am the Founder and Principal Lawyer at Jarda Law, a boutique litigation law firm based on Ottawa, Ontario, focusing in the areas of employment law, personal injury law, civil litigation, workplace investigations, and culture assessments. With over 12 years of legal experience, I am dedicated to advocating for individuals and small businesses and to providing effective legal representation.Prior to founding Jarda Law, I practiced law for several years at one of Ottawa’s largest law firms where I gained extensive experience in employment law, personal injury law, and civil litigation. I also served as an adjudicator with an administrative tribunal from 2022 to 2025 where I developed a deeper understanding of access to justice and the importance of fair and timely dispute resolution.Beyond my law practice, I am actively involved in my community. I volunteer with professional organizations like the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers and the Black Female Lawyers’ Network, I oversee the good governance of the Canadian Women of Colour Leadership Network as a board member, and I mentor students and young lawyers. I also share my knowledge through teaching and speaking engagements. I am committed to empowering the next generation of legal professionals and to fostering diversity in the legal professional.
