ABOUT LUCY NAVEN
I’m a Chartered Psychologist, IRCM Registered Case Manager, and BABICM Advanced Practitioner with 25+ years across case management, rehabilitation and complex care sector. My work sits where complex clinical practice and safeguarding meet.Safeguarding is now at the core of my practice. I’m Level 4 qualified, a designated safeguarding lead, and experienced across adult and child safeguarding, Section 42 enquiries, child protection, and multi‑agency work. I bring steadiness, sensitivity, and defensible thinking to complex situations. I regularly delivery safeguarding training to the sector and facilitate reflective, real‑world learning – one of my favourite parts of the job.I hold a small, high‑risk caseload involving neurological injury and long‑term conditions, and I supervise case managers to think clearly, act confidently, and stay grounded when navigating complexity and risk.I also support organisations to strengthen their systems - building mentoring frameworks, delivering development workshops, and improving safeguarding, governance, and quality. My focus is creating cultures where practitioners feel supported, not isolated, when holding risk.My aim is simple: safe, ethical, person‑centred practice and practitioners who feel equipped to navigate complexity with clarity.
