This includes: 1. Fluid dynamics. Compression, metering, heat transfer2. Reactor Design, including high-pressure vessel and flammable gas design. Hardware building. Terraformers won\'t appear out of nowhere. Test campaigns. This includes running the reactors, analyzing and interpreting data, developing experiments, etc. Techno-economic analysis.6. SKILLS
ABOUT LUCIE NURDIN
I am a highly skilled and passionate scientist, with 8 years of research experience in the energy and environmental sector. Transitioning to greener processes is a challenge that needs to be tackled collectively and in every aspect of our society’s activities. This is why I investigate how we can make this transformation happen. I tackled how carbon emissions can be eliminated, from discovering carbon-free fuels to transforming carbon waste into added-value products. My goal has always been to be a part of the solution. My passion for science goes beyond the doors of the research lab. I volunteer and teach about science to diverse audiences, either in person, via newspaper articles, or on social media (@lucie_nurdin). More recently, I have become an advocate for science in policy, as I believe scientists have a crucial role to play to develop argument-based policy and provide expertise. We need scientists everywhere to bridge the gap between different worlds that in general interact too little. Finally, I am engaged in a variety of environmental activities, either locally or globally. such as being a zero-waste activist and teaching our community about composting and the environmental challenges we are currently facing.
