I am pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, where I learn from senior mechanical engineering professionals and make positive contributions to the design, development, and production processes. I am eager to build a long-term career in the field and to apply my skills and expertise to solve real-world engineering challenges. I am passionate about innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in mechanical engineering.As a Vehicle Integration Lead at University of Michigan SuperMileage, I apply my mechanical engineering skills and knowledge to design and manufacture high-performance vehicles for fuel efficiency competitions. I manage cross-team collaboration among 60 students, ensuring optimal design integration and proper interfacing of body, engine, and mechanical systems. I also perform simulations, modelling, and safety calculations to eliminate failure by design and choose the best materials and components for the vehicles.As part of my experiences, I have used CAD, CAM, Fusion360, and manual G-code programming techniques to operate Haas CNC machines and deliver precision-manufactured parts. I also design procedures and employ fixtures to enhance accuracy and repeatability in machining operations.
