At the heart of my work is a belief that places shape people, and people shape places. The stories we tell about where we live influence what we choose to protect, value and pass on. I am Engagement & Communications Lead at Cambridge Past, Present & Future, an independent charity working to protect and enhance the landscapes, green spaces and historic character of Cambridge. Our work spans planning policy, community engagement and hands-on environmental stewardship, with a simple premise: that the future of Cambridge depends on citizens who recognise their role in shaping and safeguarding the city’s character.My role is to translate that civic mission into clarity, connection and growth, strengthening membership, deepening engagement, and positioning the charity as a relevant, forward-looking voice in a rapidly changing city.I bring over 20 years’ experience across nonprofit, education, heritage and the creative industries. I specialise in shaping purpose-led brands, growing engaged audiences, and leading campaigns that deliver measurable impact. My strengths lie in brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, media strategy and digital transformation. I have led cross-functional teams, launched new platforms, revitalised underperforming communications functions, and built ventures from the ground up.Across every role, the thread is the same: aligning narrative, strategy and identity so that meaningful work resonates and endure
