Member of the national accountancy and finance senior leadership team at Hays. Lead the specialist business areas of professional services accounting firms across audit, advisory, business outsourcing, general practice, and tax. Also responsible for Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, Tax and Treasury across all sectors in UKI. Responsible for achieving monthly and yearly budget set for the business nationally. Support and lead a large team of consultants within my specialist areas, and work with each Hays region and their leadership team to communicate and collaborate on the national strategy. Hays are unique in having both a national strategy and alignment, yet also a local management team and consultants in each region, who understand the nuances of the local market. Client facing position in which I am responsible for continuing to build and develop relationships with clients. Account Director for the Top 20 Accounting Firms, responsible for negotiating terms and PSL agreements, increasing Hays client spend by advising clients on the different Hays specialisms and products, listening to, and finding new solutions for our customers. Sector specialist within Professional Services Accounting Firms with a key focus to continue to build and grow relationships with customers and to provide market insights and expertise. Evolution of a candidate sourcing strategy and plan including the implementation of an alternative sourcing model. Responsible for the marketing strategy, ranging from social media, specialist content, PR, events, strategic partnerships, presenting at conferences and webinars. Set and deliver specialist learning and development plans to ensure all consultants have the specialist knowledge and expertise to engage professionally with our customer base.
