ABOUT LORI CONLEY
While working in children\'s ministry for the last 25 years, the gap between changing family life and the church has gotten to be a chasm often unbreached by the church. Empower Youth was started to bridge the gap as a community based initiative in hopes to fill in where churches and schools can no longer go. Empower Youth engages students and families into building their own resources base while emphasizing food insecurity, giving students independence through camp, and providing leadership opportunities to break through poverty, abuse, and neglect.
