Set-up, operate and maintain computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform precision, no repetitive machine operations such as turning, milling, boring, planning, drilling, precision grinding and other operations• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precisionmeasuring instruments like micrometers, verniers, calipers, height gauge, optical comparators and other specialized measuring instruments• Read reports from Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and adjust the layout of work pieces in machining process.• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and layout of work pieces.• Proofread all supplied documents for pertinent data to ensure all of the necessary information is present fordown line processes prior to release for manufacture.• Provide constructive feedback to processing and engineering personnel.• Responsible, as part of the production team, for meeting performance goals for scrap, rework, labor efficiency and downtime.• Continually enhance knowledge and ability levels along with developing improved means and methods to complete tasks.• Reading and interpreting shop drawings• Comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures; reports unsafe activities to supervisor.• Perform all other technical duties as assigned by Manager.
