ABOUT LUKASZ KOZAKIEWICZ

I am a seasoned developer and over my career I\'ve had a chance to work on complex and advanced applications with large codebases, working primarily on cross-platform projects that target Windows, macOS, iOS and Android platforms. This, amongst others, included working on products for Akai Professional (Studio Instrument Collection, MPK mini IV, MPC Touch), BFD (BFD Player, BFD 3.5), ROLI (LUMI), FXpansion (Geist2), as well as on JUCE framework underpinning most of today\'s audio software/hardware products.I especially enjoy working on cross platform projects/sdks/libraries, where I can deal with multiple programming languages, platforms and technologies. In my career I have worked with languages like C, C++, Objective-C, Java, Javascript, Typescript, Ruby and I find great joy in learning something new every day. Inspired by such well renowned authors as Robert C. Martin, GOF or Scott Meyers, I strive for writing clean, maintainable code and I enjoy writing APIs that are easy to use and enjoyable to work with. I believe that following best software development practices is the key for years long sustainability of a business and software it relies on.We live in the era of quickly evolving, advanced technologies which surround us everywhere and on which we increasingly become more and more dependent. The programming languages and target platforms have never been so abundant. It is difficult to foresee what next 20-50 years will bring and while it may be scary for some, I find this fascinating. I am continuously looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn something new and I am excited to see what the future brings.
