ABOUT LIZZIE HARRISON

Studying Business Studies at both GCSE and A level sparked a passion within me to pursue a degree, hence I am determined to achieve a career within the business sector. Being brought up within a household of successful Business entrepreneurs, I have witnessed first-hand how fulfilling a career in business can be, shaping my ambitions and aspirations and further enhancing my passion to study the course. My previous job at The Claims Guys has further refined my communication skills as I interact with the general public, also enhancing my ability to handle conflict resolution as I managed the often difficult task of dealing with concerns and complaints. Within these roles, I believe I have firmly established the skills necessary to work as part of a strong, committed workforce. As well as this, I have helped in numerous volunteering and charitable events such as raising money for children in South Africa and being fortunate enough to travel to their schools and provide them with sporting equipment and educational supplies. A huge amount of dedication and planning was necessary to achieve such targets. I have gained leadership expertise through coaching lower year groups in Hockey practice, along with mentoring younger girls around school in their academic studies. Playing this sport has given me confidence as well as worthwhile attributes including delegation skills, commitment and determination. The prospects of a career in Business excites me and studying the Business Management course is something I am truly passionate about pursuing.
