I\'m on a mission to change the perception of Estate Agency and to drive up standards in the property industry. For too long estate agents have relied on the property portals get sales and win listings. However, there are some outstanding agents across the UK who are delivering an outstanding service, and achieving a sales price for their listings, in excess of asking price. I\'ve been fortunate to have worked alongside these agents, learning from them, developing my skills, embracing new systems and technologies. With this experience, and having founded an independent estate agency in Faversham in 2016 that went from a business idea of a new approach to Estate Agency to a market leader and a multi award winning agency within three years, I decided to return to the industry full time in 2024. My commitment to improving standards within the industry is based on transparency, honest pricing and marketing advice, consistent communication, a standard fee structure, secured sales (reduce the rate of fall throughs) and no contract to tie sellers in, they stay because they want to, not because they have to. I\'m not interested in market share, just to help people to achieve the best price and best possible outcome to get them moved to the next chapter of their lives. VOLUNTEER AND LOCAL EXPERIENCE I’ve been helping people online for decades. I started my career working on IT helpdesks in the 1990s and have been a constant presence in local business and community forums ever since. Through work, I’ve become a well-known figure in Faversham - I\'ve been involved in all of Faversham events and markets in one way or another. I created and run many local Facebook groups. I\'ve also support the local business community with shop local initiatives, such as Fiver Fest, marketing drops ins and networking events. I help my daughter to run a business delivering leaflets of behalf of local businesses to residential homes around my community, to date, we\'ve helped 60+ businesses to reach new customers. Finally, I created Faversham\'s very own version of Hasbro\'s board game Monopoly. A true community project, with Faversham residents past and present having a say on what should be included in the game which is being sold to support local Faversham charities. My combined passions, my local area, and my love for property and improving standards are what set me apart from the rest of the pack.
