A marine biologist walks into a bank. Sorry, were you expecting a punchline? I\'m just stating the facts. I\'m a marine biologist by education who, after years of engaging and fulfilling work in science communication at cultural institutions across the globe, came to realize I had a passion to enact larger-scale impact. This led me to pursue my MBA at Ivey Business School. I seized each and every opportunity to diversify my skill set throughout my MBA, taking on multiple pro-bono projects to enhance the Greater London Area, managing Ivey MBA social media accounts, and fulfilling the role of the President of Ivey\'s Wine & Culinary Social Club. Extra-curriculars aside, my hard work and grit throughout the program landed me a spot on the Dean\'s Honour List and the privilege to graduate from one of Canada\'s top business schools with distinction, despite my unconventional educational background and work experience. Leaving the safety net of school is always intimidating, but I am thrilled to be entering RBC\'s Leadership Development Program. Here is a place where I can continue to learn, grow, and place professional development at the forefront of my agenda. I am invigorated by the expansive potential of an MBA paired with the experience I will gain through the Leadership Development Program. I value collaborative and inclusive work environments, as I know firsthand the profound positive influence that accompanies empowering employees and clients alike. I look forward to opportunities to grow and make a substantial impact as I progress through my career- this is just the beginning!
